In early 2010 The Conservative Party commissioned Deluxe Digital Studios to create an application that allowed users to monitor the progress of the election across the country. The application features a manual swing-o-meter that users would move from side to side, the screen would the results would then change predicting what would happen if the voters swung in that direction. The major areas were covered including Crime, Education, Health and National Defence. The app also featured information about the parties policies and a “Donate” button, which allowed users to give money to the party.
The application received high profile attention from The Telegraph newspaper and popular app specific sites worldwide.
