History Here will be a location aware app show casing 450 points of interest around London. We are going to develop a ground breaking way of displaying historic mapping overlayed on current mapping to enable users to see how the landscape and street layouts have changed between different periods of time. Geotagging literally hundreds of famous buildings, parks and venues a user can see points of interest by using augmented reality or simply selecting the pins on a map. They will then be able to see a historic photo from the History Channel archives of their chosen place as well as a modern day photo and amazing historic video footage of each place. Set for release later this year this will be a ‘historic’ application!
